Weevils are actually a type of beetle and make up the biggest portion of the beetle family having more than 1000 variants in their lineage and while most are more of a general annoyance than a health threat, they can cause some measurable damage which can be avoided if you know what to look for and how to treat it. WEEVILS

There are basically three types of weevils you need to know about: outdoor weevils, stored product weevils and structural weevils.

- Outdoor Weevils can destroy just about any plant in your garden and if they make their way into your home, then can make entire pantries inedible due to waste and skin shedding.

- Stored Product Weevils can be brought into your house by just about anything you buy. Most often found in dry grain products, they can cause extensive damage to dry food stores.

- Structural Weevils are what they sound like, They invade your home in great numbers and attack wood, insulation and more. Like the stored product weevil, they are the most dangerous financially.
