Bombs Away!
Because of how quickly flea infestations can get out of control, it's easy to want to try to take care of the problem yourself. In most cases this means flea bombs, which we strongly advise against for two reasons. First, they are not effective which in turn can make them very expensive. Since they usually do not work as advertised, it is common for people to buy more "just in case" and this can lead to throwing quite a bit of money away. Secondly, they are very toxic and can leave harmful residue on everything from dishes and utensils to sofas, carpets and more. They may be almost as dangerous as the fleas themselves.
As an alternative, if you see or suspect fleas, vacuum, vacuum, vacuum, then call us. The heat from your vacuum will act as contact killer and at least help slow their reproduction if nothing else.
